Job Summary
Provide one-on-one behavior intervention under the guidance of a BCBA for children with autism, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce interfering behaviors. The role requires comfort with physical activity (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds) and teamwork; comprehensive training is provided. Required Qualifications
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
