Job Summary
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans one-on-one with children, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. Work under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to ensure safe, effective support for clients with autism. Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds, as clients move dynamically. Complete daily documentation and maintain a compassionate, patient approach in a team environment. Comprehensive training is provided to equip new technicians, though candidates must be ready for unpredictable situations. Required Qualifications
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year)
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
