Job Summary
Behavior Technician role providing one-on-one behavioral intervention for children with autism under BCBA supervision. Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. Requires patience, compassion, and teamwork; comprehensive training provided. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and assist with lifting up to 50 pounds; home/workplace includes engaging with children in active daily routines. Located in Tualatin, OR with Centria Autism.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 18+ years of age
- Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification
- Tuberculosis test (if not current)
- Background check
- Ability to move in various positions and lift/carry up to 50 pounds
