Job Summary
Behavior Technician role providing one-on-one intervention for children with autism under BCBA guidance. Responsibilities include implementing individualized behavior intervention plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills, and reducing interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques. Requires patient, compassionate collaboration in a team environment, ability to stand/walk/sit in various positions, lift up to 50 pounds, and pass background checks; comprehensive training provided; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
