Job Summary
Provide one-on-one behavior intervention with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. Willingness to learn through comprehensive training, strong teamwork, and ability to engage with children who may be unpredictable. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing activities that support a child’s development; the role emphasizes meaningful impact on the child and family. Pay range is $19-$25 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
