Job Summary
Behavior Technician role providing one-on-one intervention for children with autism under a BCBA's guidance. Responsibilities include applying individualized behavior intervention plans, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and reducing interfering behaviors. Must be patient, compassionate, able to work in a team, and capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds; comprehensive training is provided. Local position in Southgate, MI with a pay range of $17-$20 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 18+ years of age
- Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
