Job Summary

Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) while teaching communication, social, and daily living skills to children with autism. Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors and work one-on-one with clients, requiring comfort with physical tasks like lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and carrying objects. Obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding, which includes comprehensive training for those without prior experience. Candidates must be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team environment while obtaining CPR, First Aid, and Tuberculosis certifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Passionate about helping children with autism
  • Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
  • 18+ years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year)
  • Ability to pass a pre employment background check
  • Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Candidates must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding
