Job Summary
Deliver ABA services to children ages 6-22 diagnosed with Autism; implement skill acquisition and behavior programs; conduct data collection electronically (using Catalyst); collaborate with SLPs, OTs, and Special Education Teachers; must be willing to use restraint and hold techniques learned via SOLVE training in conjunction with the student’s behavior support plan; must be able to lift 60 lbs; must address basic needs such as feeding, diapering, toileting, and dressing; must be able to work on a computer or be on your feet for extended periods of time.
Required Qualifications
- Must enjoy working with children 6-22 years old
- Punctual, reliable, eager to learn
- Interest in ABA, psychology, human services, special education, social work, childcare or related field
- Preferably Bachelor degree or working towards it
- High school diploma acceptable
- Experience as babysitter/nanny/paraprofessional/tutor/camp counselor/coach preferred
- Transcript submission
