Job Summary

Provide exceptional behavior treatment services for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) based therapy. Teach clients communication, social, and self-help skills in individual or small group settings while collecting data to monitor progress. Work 2:1 with patients and families to reach individualized goals supervised by a BCBA, adhering to all policies including confidentiality and mandated reporting. Maintain appropriate social distancing and enhanced protective hygiene practices. Gain experience working in crisis situations involving severe aggression, self-injurious behavior, and property destruction. Communicate clearly with clients, families, and colleagues. Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops to acquire further knowledge.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working in crisis situations including severe aggression, self-injurious behavior, and property destruction
  • Experience working with people with special needs
  • May have studied psychology or education
