Job Summary
Behavior Technician/ABA Therapist providing one-on-one ABA therapy to children ages 2-12 with autism or developmental/language delays at Bierman Autism Centers. Conducts 1:1 therapy following skill acquisition and behavior support plans; collects and records data, writes therapy notes, and communicates with parents/caregivers regarding progress under BACB guidelines. Supports growth toward becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and participates in on-site trainings. Center-based role with guaranteed 40-hour work weeks, Monday to Friday, 8:15 am–4:45 pm, no travel. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift and carry clients up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to restrain/hold/transport and use quick body movements as indicated by Behavior Support Plan
- Must be able to attend to basic needs (feeding, diapering, toileting, dressing)
- Must have manual dexterity for data collection and session documentation
- Must be able to read and comprehend written communication
- Must be able to transfer data to electronic files/database
- Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods
- Must be able to assemble, clean and maintain therapy space
