Job Summary
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism, using play to build communication, confidence, and independence while tracking progress and following personalized treatment plans. Collaborate with a supportive team to create positive, lasting change for children and families. Maintain continuous visual supervision and auditory awareness of clients to ensure a safe environment, requiring the ability to frequently change physical positions, including walking, standing, kneeling, and squatting. This role offers paid training in ABA therapy and opportunities for promotion in as little as three months. WEAP is part of LEARN Behavioral, a network of ABA providers committed to nurturing the unique potential of children with autism and special needs nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old on your first day of employment
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a background check
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to move quickly in response to client needs
- Must be able to frequently change physical positions throughout the day, including walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, and occasionally running
- Must maintain continuous visual supervision and auditory awareness of clients
