Job Summary
ABA Behavior Technician with Alora Behavioral Health delivers direct implementation of ABA services under supervision, collects data on goals, and works in home, community, school, clinic, or other assigned locations with individuals with autism or related disabilities. Responsibilities include addressing problem behaviors with positive behavior support techniques, assisting caregiver training, arriving on time for sessions, submitting timecards and clinical notes on time, and collaborating with Supervisors and BCBA. Flexible part-time and full-time options with potential weekend shifts, paid training, and opportunities for BCBA supervision hours are offered. Eligible candidates typically have a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, 6 months of relevant experience, a valid driver's license with auto insurance, pass required health and safety checks, and willingness to travel to various settings while adhering to ethical standards and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months of work experience or exposure to individuals with disabilities
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Criminal background check, TB tests, pre-employment Physical/Fit for Duty exam
- Immunity to MMR and Varicella
- Ability to travel to multiple settings (home, community, school, clinic) as needed
- Excellent communication with clients and caregivers
- Ability to arrive on time for scheduled sessions and complete documentation
