Job Summary
Behavior Technician with Alora Behavioral Health delivers direct ABA services under supervision, collects session data, and works with individuals with autism across home, community, school, or clinic settings. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, addressing problem behaviors with positive behavior support, assisting with caregiver training, arriving on time, submitting timecards and clinical notes, collaborating with Supervisors/BCBAs, and supporting new hire overlaps. Flexible part-time or full-time options with potential BCBA supervision hours and opportunities for growth and ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Preferred Education: Currently enrolled in college or has completed some college coursework
- Minimum of 6 months of work experience or exposure to individuals with disabilities (direct job experience preferred but not required)
- Availability: at least 15 hours available during afternoons and evenings (3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, may vary)
- Age must be 18 years or older
- Transportation: valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance (travel time compensated)
- Criminal background check
- TB tests
- Pre-employment Physical/Fit for Duty exam
- Immunity to MMR and Varicella (proof of immunity)
