Job Summary
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, implementing treatment plans developed by the Clinical Manager/BCBA using techniques such as behavior management, discrete trial training, and social skills development. Collect and record accurate data during each session while following all clinical guidelines to support client progress. Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, clients, and families, and assist with additional tasks as assigned. Maintain professionalism and composure in challenging situations, including aggression or tantrums, while engaging actively with children using energy and creativity. Must obtain RBT certification before working independently with clients. Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, and move throughout sessions, including working on the floor for extended periods, and lift up to 40 lbs. Reliable transportation required. Paid RBT training and certification are provided. Autism Behavioral Health operates centers in Danbury, Trumbull, and Waterbury, serving families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder across Connecticut.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Reliable transportation

- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs

- Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, or related field
- RBT certification
