Job Summary
Implement BCBA-designed clinical plans one-on-one with children to build communication, social, and adaptive skills using applied behavior analysis principles. Teach adaptive behaviors in areas including language, socialization, play, and self-help while addressing behavior reduction goals and supporting toilet training. Collect and record data on observable client behavior, complete session documentation, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment. Perform appropriate physical guidance as needed to ensure client safety. Comply with the BACB's code of ethics and acquire technical knowledge through required trainings. This entry-level role offers full-time or part-time opportunities with on-site BACAs, a structured Level Up program with quarterly promotion potential, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 21 PTO days.
Required Qualifications
- No prior criminal history
- Ability to utilize technology
- Basic computer skills- Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Windows
- Ability to operate basic office equipment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Utilize the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), such as reinforcement and prompting
- Utilize the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), to address behavior reduction goals
- Support client goals related to toilet training including diaper changes
- With training, implement skill development programs and perform appropriate physical guidance as needed to ensure client safety
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
- Complete session documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment
- Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings
- Comply with the BACB's code of ethics
