Job Summary
Provide in-home behavioral services as a Behavior Technician in Saint Cloud, MN and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include delivering services to individuals exhibiting behaviors such as aggression or self-injury, implementing and documenting across individual service plans, maintaining compliance with federal/state standards, overseeing day-to-day service delivery within a caseload, collecting and charting data, and communicating with managers. Duties also cover confidentiality, willingness to fill Direct Support Professional roles as needed, medication administration, assisting with activities of daily living, performing exemplary direct support tasks, and performing other responsibilities as assigned. Preferred qualifications include AA degree, and 3+ years of experience in healthcare/mental health settings with focus on high-behavior individuals; knowledge of medication administration and medical documentation. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience working with individuals who exhibit challenging behaviors
- Ability to pass a background check with the MN Department of Human Services
- Ability to travel to and from surrounding areas as needed
- Reliable transportation and a current driver’s license
- Fluently read, understand, speak, and write the English Language
- Dynamic communication skills, working techniques, and ability to multitask
- General computer skills/knowledge
- Working cell phone with internet access
- Experience with Positive Supports and Crisis Interventions
