Job Summary
Behavioral Specialist conducts functional behavior assessments and writes positive behavior support plans. Works with building-level Core Teams to provide consultation and direct supports within the MTSS framework. Responsible for generating and implementing programs to remediate behavioral and social problems for students and for training and supervising associated personnel. Requires certification as a BCBA or BCABA (or eligibility) and a Master’s degree, with experience with students on the autism spectrum and students with emotional/behavioral needs.
