Job Summary
Behavioral Specialist on a clinical interdisciplinary team overseeing a caseload of participants. Responsibilities include conducting behavioral health assessments, developing care plans, delivering counseling, symptom management, crisis intervention, and arranging necessary services. You will provide effective behavioral health interventions and train staff on behavioral health symptoms and interventions to improve patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work or related field
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and other behavioral therapies
- Knowledge and ability to apply safety precautions and procedures in behavioral interventions
- 1-3 years of experience in healthcare or behavioral health setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong documentation and reporting skills to ensure compliance with care plans and regulations
- Experience in SNF environment (nice to have)
- Experience with EMR systems (PCC or similar) and additional certifications (nice to have)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work)

- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and residents
- Strong documentation and reporting skills to ensure compliance with care plans and regulations
- Experience in healthcare or behavioral health settings (1-3 years)
- Nice to Have: Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) or other EMR systems
- Additional certifications in behavioral health or therapeutic interventions
