Job Summary
Behavior Interventionist Teacher in Muscatine, IA contract role to support SEBH program, data collection on student interventions, train teachers in ABA-based techniques, coordinate MTSS and district SEBH standards, provide guidance for implementing interventions, coordinate alignment of student services, support analyzing interventions to determine effectiveness, provide training for teachers/staff to apply and monitor research-based behavior techniques, overlook home visits, serve as a building representative in building the district infrastructure around SEBH, attend weekly student support team meetings, assist with student transition, collaborate with SEBH Coach (TLC), articulate and align district standards around SEBH prioritizing PK-6 to ensure PK-12 curriculum alignment, plan and lead ongoing learning opportunities to improve instruction for SEBH based on district data, support universal SEBH practices (Tier 1). Knowledge and skills include excellent oral and written communication, instructional/presentations skills, ABA best practices, data analysis, collaboration with teachers, counselors, parents and other stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Iowa teaching licensure
