Job Summary
Engage students in their treatment process and behavior plans while supporting those facing behavioral, emotional, or substance-related challenges. Provide consistent role-modeling, mentoring, and intervention to help youth develop coping skills, self-awareness, and strategies for school success. Collaborate with school staff to ensure student progress and maintain accurate documentation of all interactions. This role supports academic, personal, and career development goals for elementary through high school students, facilitating their transition back to home school environments. Work in a trauma-informed, recovery-focused setting dedicated to strengthening communities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 or more years of experience working with at-risk youth
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to pass background and criminal record checks
- Compliance with drug-free workplace requirements
- Meets all mandated health requirements (e.g., negative tuberculosis test)
