Job Summary
Behavior Interventionist (BI) position delivering behavior intervention plans (BIPs) created by a BCBA or school team. Responsibilities include providing one-on-one and small group behavioral support to students, collecting and recording data on behavior and progress, supporting students in developing social, communication, and coping skills, collaborating with teachers, BCBAs, and support staff, and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment. Requires a High School Diploma; a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is preferred. RBT certification is preferred but not required. Fingerprint clearance and background check are required. This role offers contracts up to 40 hours per week with 1.5x pay for any approved hours beyond 40, competitive pay, PTO, paid holidays, professional development funds, and benefits including medical/dental/vision and 401(k) with match.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred
- Experience working with children or individuals with behavioral needs preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
- RBT certification preferred but not required
