Behavior Intervention Specialist Wildflower 2026/2027 SY

Behavior Intervention Specialist at Wildflower Accelerated Academy, reporting to Alternative School teachers/coordinator, provides assistance to students in a special education program. Responsibilities include working with emotionally/behaviorally disabled students, implementing crisis prevention and intervention techniques, maintaining CPI and First Aid/CPR certifications, supporting development of educational programs, assisting teachers with disruptive or emotionally distressed students, preparing logs and reports, escorting students to bus or nurse’s office, facilitating communication between students and teachers, and adhering to district policies. Calendar: 10 months, 40 hours per week, classified hourly (non-exempt).
