Job Summary

Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) for AHRC NYC's Brooklyn Adult Day Services program. Responsibilities include developing individualized behavior support plans after Functional Assessment, implementing and monitoring data-tracking systems, training staff on behavior treatment plans, conducting assessments and psychological evaluations as needed, coordinating care with families and providers, and ensuring regulatory-compliance through accurate record-keeping. Requires Master’s degree in a clinical/treatment psychology field and at least 2 years of relevant experience; strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills are essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a clinical or treatment field of psychology, along with documented training in assessment techniques and behavioral support plan development, required.
  • At least 2 years of experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or providing supervision and training related to behavioral support plans.
