Job Summary
Provide direct care and behavioral health support to adolescent residents in a residential treatment setting. Lead daily routines, group activities, and therapeutic programming while supporting the development of healthy coping skills, communication, and emotional regulation. Assist with minor food preparation and model healthy lifestyle habits to maintain a safe, structured, trauma-informed environment. Collaborate with therapists to support individualized treatment plans, document daily progress notes, and utilize safe verbal de-escalation and physical intervention skills when needed. Paid training covers substance use recovery and crisis intervention. Full-time and part-time shifts available with mandatory Sunday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to pass a Utah State background check
- Willingness to commit to a minimum of 8 months
- Ability to obtain a Food Handler's Permit before the first day of work
- Every Other Sunday (Required)
