Behavior Health Technician (BHT)

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides one-to-one services to identified child/adolescent and family to reduce maladaptive behaviors in home, school, and community. Responsibilities include implementing clinical service delivery goals, reporting to supervisor, completing required training (6 supervised hours in field), maintaining documentation for degrees/licenses/certifications/clearances, providing services per program description and licensure standards, maintaining professional relationships with clients and stakeholders, participating in interagency meetings, collaborating to develop internal systems for quality, prompting replacement behaviors to build communication/social/problem-solving skills, delivering all authorized client services and timely re-authorizations, assisting with payroll/billing documentation, applying treatment/behavior plans, providing crisis intervention when needed, participating in supervision and staff meetings. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's Degree; one year of full-time mental health support experience with youth/young adults; BCAT certification; required clearances.
