Job Summary
The Behavior Consultant will supervise Assistant Behavior Consultation-ABA and Behavior Health Technicians while ensuring compliance with best practice standards. Responsibilities include providing psycho-education to children and caregivers, writing and updating treatment plans according to Commonwealth IBHS regulations, and utilizing standardized assessment tools. The role requires a licensed individual with experience in ABA services, familiarity with writing treatment plans, and oversight of direct care staff.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist or similar
- Certification as a BCaBA
- Minimum of one year of full-time experience providing ABA services and 12 college credits in ABA
- Minimum of one year of experience providing ABA under the supervision of a BCBA
- Experience in writing comprehensive treatment plans and FBAs utilizing ABA interventions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience providing oversight and behavioral technique training to direct care staff and families
- Experience providing services under IBHS regulations
Additional Requirements
