Job Summary
The Behavior Consultant (BC-ABA) is responsible for writing and monitoring individual treatment plans for children with behavioral and mental health disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and ODD. This role includes providing assistance in skill development, conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), and training Behavior Health Technicians (BHT) on therapeutic interventions. Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in a related field, relevant ABA coursework, and experience with children with ASD. The position is independent contract-based, offering flexible scheduling and a rate of $60 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
- Must have ABA coursework related to behavior theories, protocols, techniques
- Demonstrated work experience with children with ASD
- PA Behavior Specialist License - license must be active
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
- FBI Department of Human Service background clearance - Service code: 1KG738
- TB screening - current within 3 months
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory experience - preferred
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must have an active PA Behavior Specialist License (BSL)
- Clearances must be obtained within the last 12 months
