Job Summary
Assist in organizing and implementing academic and behavior programs under direct supervision of a teacher or other instructional staff; responsibilities include applying behavior management strategies to prevent or deescalate student behavior and support in classroom activities; candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be trained or willing to complete district-approved behavior management and positive behavioral strategies training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Trained in behavior management or agreement to complete the district approved behavior management training course within a designated timeframe
- Trained in district approved positive behavioral strategies used to prevent or deescalate behavior or an agreement to complete the training within a designated timeframe and renew annually
