Job Summary
Oversee development and implementation of behavior support plans for students and/or adults with challenging behaviors. Leads functional assessments of behaviors using reliable assessment tools; develops and modifies behavior support plans following positive behavior analysis. Create data collection systems, monitor and analyze data, and set behavioral goals for IEP/Res Hab/Day Hab plans in collaboration with the treatment team. Provide direct care in classroom or residential settings as needed to model interventions, respond to crisis calls on campus, conduct formal observations across environments, and communicate progress in clinical notes. Collaborate with staff and other professionals, participate in team meetings, provide staff training, and ensure adherence to ethical standards and relevant regulations (OPWDD, SED). Requires Master’s degree in psychology or related field; BCaBA/BCBA in progress preferred; ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical interventions; proficient in MS Office and data management; willingness to engage in ongoing supervision and professional development. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in psychology or related field from an accredited program with emphasis on behavior modification
- BCaBA or BCBA in progress preferred
- ability to start BCBA coursework within one year
