Job Summary
Behavior Analyst I/II at Sonoma, CA provides behavioral assessment and intervention planning for children and families as part of the TBS team. Responsibilities include writing clear progress notes, developing individualized family plans, attending staff and case-management meetings, tracking behavioral data, conducting Functional Behavioral Analyses to drive programming, making recommendations for goals and termination phases, maintaining accurate records, and mentoring new analysts. The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field (or equivalent combination per experience policy) and several years of approved experience, with a focus on collaborating with agency programs, utilizing behavior interventions, and adapting to flexible hours to meet family needs. Spanish speaking preferred. Employment at-will; standard agency confidentiality and ethics expectations apply.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field with at least 2 years of approved experience OR Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of approved experience OR Associate's degree with at least 6 years of approved experience
- Spanish Speaking Preferred
- Experience qualifying for MHRS status in County Children's Mental Health System of Care
- Graduate education may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis
- Proficiency in documenting progress notes and Functional Behavioral Analysis
- Ability to develop individualized family plans and participate in team meetings
- Flexible hours to meet families' needs
- Knowledge of agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Mentoring junior staff or new analysts
- Maintaining accurate and timely records
