Job Summary
Design and oversee behavior intervention plans, conduct assessments, and use data to guide decisions that support meaningful progress for students. Collaborate with IEP teams, families, and school staff to provide consultation and strategies that strengthen classroom practices. Coach, model, and facilitate professional learning for teachers, paraprofessionals, and behavior technicians to build capacity and ensure plan implementation fidelity. Work during school hours Monday through Friday with occasional after-school requirements, including travel to multiple schools in the Hazelwood School District. This 12-month position supports nearly 25,000 students across educational settings, aligning with the district's mission to empower students of all learning abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in special education, behavior analysis, or a related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
- License issued by the Division of Professional Registration
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in special education, behavior analysis, or a related field
- Specific experience in behavioral and instructional strategies training related to working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health diagnoses
