Job Summary
BCBA Intern opportunity with Action Behavior Centers offering hands-on supervision hours toward BCBA certification. The role involves supervising and supporting behavior technicians during early intervention therapy for children with autism in a center-based setting, collecting data, implementing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with BCBA colleagues, and preparing for the BACB exam within 6 months. Full-time schedule with guaranteed hours (32-40 per week), competitive hourly pay ($24-$30, based on experience), benefits (health, 401K, PTO, holidays), and an accelerated path to BCBA salary upon passing. Eligible interns will work under supervision to complete fieldwork hours and progress toward certification, with additional bonuses and tuition discounts available.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of enrollment in an accredited applicable masters program
- Are BT or RBT and accruing supervision hours
- Supervisee has accrued 85% of fieldwork hours (1700/2000 hours)
- All Restricted hours completed
- Providing early intervention therapy in a center-based setting
- Shaping interventions and data collection for each child
- Sit for the BACB exam within 6 months of joining the team
Desired Qualifications
- Verified enrollment in accredited master's program
- Experience or eligibility as Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Interest in pursuing BCBA supervision hours and certification
- Willingness to work center-based early intervention with children
