Job Summary

Coordinate and oversee the Online Master's Degree Program, managing faculty, students, and all administrative tasks while ensuring compliance with ABAI accreditation standards. Conduct student and faculty performance assessments, oversee coursework and degree completion, and vet adjunct faculty to maintain required teaching qualifications. Provide supervision, support, and training to program faculty, maintain records, and ensure adherence to program policies and protocols. Complete university training and maintain ABAI, BACB, and CITI certifications. This role supports a rigorous curriculum focused on the scientist-practitioner model within Simmons University's Department of Behavior Analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • PhD in Behavior Analysis or a closely related field
  • Current Board Certified Behavior AnalystR (BCBAR or BCBA-DR ) in good standing
  • Meets Behavior Analysis Certification BoardR standards for providing supervision
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising students seeking Board Certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising BCBAsR or BCBA-DsR
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising student research
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience conducting behavior analytic human subjects research and/or animal research, and the IRB and/or IACUC approval process
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching graduate-level behavior analytic coursework
  • Experience teaching in an online learning environment
  • A record of professional presentations and empirical research publications
  • Demonstrated ability to work with students across a broad range of social and personal identities and perspectives
  • Evidence of organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated evidence of working within university systems, policies, and processes to manage common issues in higher education
  • Demonstrated commitment to collegiality and professional collaboration when interacting with others within the university community and profession
  • Must be available in a hybrid capacity
  • Travel to our Boston campus may be expected periodically
  • Upon hire, the Director will be expected to complete Simmons University training
  • Must maintain ABAI, Behavior Analyst Certification BoardR, and CITI certifications
  • Must adhere to Simmons University standards for research and supervision (e.g., Institutional Review Board)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating and overseeing the program, faculty, students, student orientation, student registration, program tracking
  • Experience conducting student and faculty performance assessments
  • Experience overseeing the coursework and degree completion for all online Master's students
  • Experience ensuring fidelity and compliance with the Association for Behavior Analysts International (ABAI) accreditation standards
  • Experience vetting and managing program adjunct faculty and documentation
  • Experience ensuring faculty meet and maintain required qualifications for teaching coursework
  • Experience maintaining records
  • Experience providing supervision, support, and training to faculty within the program
  • Experience ensuring compliance with program and ABAI policies and protocols
  • Possibility of teaching in other departmental programs (e.g., Doctoral or campus Master's programs), depending on Department need
