Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect counseling services to patients and families using individual, group, and family therapy modalities. Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments, risk assessments, and treatment planning while coordinating with the multidisciplinary team. Manage case responsibilities including utilization review, discharge planning, and family involvement. Lead the therapeutic program by developing strategies for quality improvement and regulatory adherence. Supervise graduate students as a field instructor. Maintain compliance with Prisma Health's purpose and participate in clinical supervision processes.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related human services field of study
- Two (2) years of experience providing direct counseling care in a behavioral care setting
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state the team member is working
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in the state the team member is working
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state the team member is working
- Currently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) in the state the team member is working
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for team members working in TN
- Group, individual, and family therapy skills
- Psychiatric problem-solving abilities
- Assessment skills
- Treatment planning skills
- Interpersonal skills across multiple professions/disciplines
- Knowledge of computer software and utilization of electronic medical record
- Day shift availability
