Job Summary
Begindergarten Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides occupational therapy services under the direction of the Chief Schools Officer and School OTR, assisting with screenings, assessments, and documentation to support student progress toward IEP objectives. Duties include data collection, progress reporting, preparing therapy materials, adapting instructional materials for students with autism, ADD/ADHD, and dyslexia, organizing records, and traveling between Julie Billiart School campuses in Brecksville and other sites as scheduled. Requires COTA licensure/certification and is a non-exempt, full-time role. The schools serve grades K-8 with special learning challenges in a Catholic, non-public environment.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- certified/licensed to practice occupational therapy in Ohio
- ability to assist with screenings, assessments, and documentation under OTR supervision
- willingness to travel between school campuses as needed
- non-exempt full-time status
