Job Summary
Lead a dedicated team of professionals to deliver high-quality care, learning, and excitement to children in the Before and After-school Program. Train staff on nurturing children and igniting their sense of wonder while fostering positive relationships among staff, children, and parents. Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents within a caring, family-oriented environment. The role requires full-time availability Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, with no weekend coverage. Candidates must possess a degree in child development or a related field, relevant administration units, and teaching experience, along with the appropriate Site Supervisor or Program Director permit.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in child development, 3 units in Administration, and 2 years of teaching experience
- A BA degree in child development, 3 units in Administration, and 1 year of teaching experience
- Child Development Site Supervisor Permit or Program Director Permit
- 24 semester units in child development, recreation, or a related field
- 6 semester units in administration and supervision
- 2 years of experience working with school-age children in a group setting
- A bachelor's degree in child development, recreation, or a related field
- 3 semester units in administration and supervision
- 1 year of experience working with school-age children in a group setting
- A School-Age Site Supervisor Permit or Program Director Permit
