Job Summary
Assist with daily curriculum activities including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts while encouraging positive peer interactions. Make child safety the top priority at all times and keep the space clean and organized. Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff while maintaining a structured, high-energy environment. This role supports extended day and enrichment programs at Higdon and Diggs Elementary Schools, offering hands-on training for those exploring education or leadership.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
- 3-6 months experience in a childcare educational setting
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
