Job Summary
Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts while making child safety the top priority. Keep the space clean and organized, and build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff. Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment and is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed. Requires at least 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center, CPR and First Aid certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent with 12 semester units. Mon to Fri shifts available at Rancho Romero and Creekside Elementary Schools.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 12 semester units or equivalent quarter units from an accredited college or university
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
- At least 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center
- Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
- Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
- Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed
