Job Summary
Develop fun and healthy before and after school programming for school-aged children while contributing to an enrichment-based environment that ensures their safety. Lead activities that provide peace of mind to parents and guardians, utilizing clear communication skills to engage children, parents, school administration, and Y associates. Maintain flexibility to work at multiple locations while adhering to Office of Child Care licensing requirements including ADA, Health and Safety, and communication standards. This role supports the Y's mission by delivering enrichment activities and fostering a positive spirit among youth.

- A high school diploma
- certificate of high school equivalence
- completed courses for credit from a college or university
- 45 training hours in School Age Curriculum
- 1800 hours of experience working with school age children
- 45 training hours in Growth and Development
- A minimum of 400 hours of supervisory experience in a childcare, recreational, or educational setting
- completed one year of college
- Office of Child Care licensing requirements to include: ADA
