Job Summary
Oversee Before and After School and camp programs by leading activities, behavioral management, and curriculum implementation while maintaining appropriate teacher-to-student ratios. Supervise assigned program staff and volunteers, conduct training, evaluations, and feedback, and ensure consistent delivery of programming and safety protocols. Manage state-required records, CCDF, and CACFP reporting, maintain equipment through preventative maintenance, and handle payroll functions. Develop collaborative relationships with parents, respond to inquiries and complaints, and support campaign efforts and donor engagement. Provide direct service coverage and shift supervision while adhering to organizational policies and the YMCA's mission of youth development and healthy living.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years related experience working with children of diverse ages and cultures
- Certifications required within 30 days of hire: CPR/AED & First Aid and New Employee Orientation
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Organized and detail oriented
- Adept computer skills in Office 365
- Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations
- Must have high level of alertness, concentration, and initiative
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times
