Job Summary
Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing lesson plans and fun hands-on learning activities while building relationships with students and their families. Support daily routines by helping with homework, playing games to foster friendships, and serving snacks and lunches. Maintain a clean and inviting space through light cleaning duties. This role requires a high school diploma, knowledge of child development, and completion of CPR, First Aid, and child abuse prevention training. Shifts are flexible, typically ranging from 5 to 28 hours per week between 6:30am-9am or 3:00pm-6:00pm Monday through Friday. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Understanding and knowledge of children, their behavior and developmentally appropriate practices
- Enrollment in CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse Prevention, and Prevention of Infectious Diseases
- Warm and friendly personality and the willingness to interact with the children
- DCY licensing qualifications in training and background check
