Before and After School Assistant Director - Coyote Hills Elementary School

Assist to plan and implement the child care program, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with Colorado licensing requirements. Develop quality lesson plans, facilitate developmentally appropriate group activities, supervise students during program operation, oversee day-to-day operations (materials, discipline, attendance, food handling, sanitation), and support the program director in staff supervision and regular leadership activities. Responsible for opening/closing the program, attending monthly director and principal meetings, planning field trips and activities for full-day programming, marketing the program, maintaining staff records for licensing, and maintaining excellent communication with parents, students, school staff, and district staff. Requires strong leadership and management skills, excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, written and oral communication skills, computer skills, and completion of required trainings; current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days; background checks required; age 21+; minimum education and experience prerequisites include a four-year college degree in related fields or equivalent combinations of degree/credit hours and experience.
