Job Summary
Implement hands-on enrichment programming and supervise students of multiple ages in classrooms, cafeterias, hallways, gyms, playgrounds, buses, and during field trips. Teach expectations, model positive behavior, apply de-escalation strategies, and support enrichment assistants in monitoring student progress and behavior. Collaborate with site leaders to establish a safe, positive environment while maintaining confidentiality and following legal and ethical standards. Ensure program resources are properly managed and cleaned after use, and obtain required certifications including adult and child CPR and First Aid. Work Monday through Friday from 6:15 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with required availability for no-school day camps and extended break camps.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, understand, and effectively implement engaging lesson plans
- Must demonstrate reliable attendance
- Certified teacher or degreed professional or minimum two years college experience
- Minimum 2 years classroom/relevant experience working with school-age youth
- Obtain and maintain required certifications, including adult and child CPR and First Aid
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supervising and engaging groups of school-age students in structured activities
