Job Summary
Implement hands-on enrichment programming and supervise classrooms of students during before and after school sessions, adapting materials to meet diverse learning needs. Teach expectations, model positive behavior, and apply de-escalation strategies while monitoring students in various settings including cafeterias, hallways, gyms, playgrounds, buses, and during field trips. Collaborate with site leaders to implement behavior intervention plans, monitor student progress, and establish a safe, positive environment for all attendees. Maintain required certifications, adhere to safety protocols, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, understand, and effectively implement engaging lesson plans
- Must demonstrate reliable attendance
- Certified teacher or degreed professional or minimum two years college experience
- Minimum 2 years classroom/relevant experience working with school-age youth
- Some evening and weekend hours may be required on a limited basis

- Experience supervising and engaging groups of school-age students in structured activities
