Job Summary
Manage Beer Den inventory, maintain draught lines, and perform routine equipment maintenance including line cleaning and faucet repairs. Build relationships with distributors and breweries while driving packaged and growler sales through display management and proper pricing. Train Beer Den Hosts on operating procedures, fill growlers according to standards, and ensure the area meets sanitation and appearance requirements. Announce specials on the PA system, complete weekly guest communications, and attend Category Manager events. Maintain brand materials, educate guests on product attributes, and adhere to all state laws governing beer sampling and sales.
Required Qualifications
- Working understanding of beer
- Familiarity with ALE laws governing sell, and purchasing of wine products
- Sales minded with effective communication, guest service and selling skills
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Self-motivated, trustworthy and able to adhere to all guidelines
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to read and understand information and direction
- Ability to effectively communicate with Store Manager, DSD Receiver and vendors
- Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 30lbs. consistently and 60lbs. occasionally
- Must be at least 21 years old
