Job Summary
Greet guests, use selling skills to enhance interactions, and prepare knife-ready products by cutting, slicing, trimming, wrapping, weighing, and pricing according to standards. Assist with product receiving, inventory, and storage while pricing, stocking, and rotating frozen items, prepared meats, and fresh meat/seafood. Maintain safety and sanitation standards in all contact areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floors to ensure product freshness and date compliance. Communicate shrink issues and guest requests to management and make PA announcements for sales and promotions. Perform all other duties as assigned by management. This role offers great pay, flexible hours, and an entertaining work environment at Lowes Foods.
Required Qualifications
- Should possess good interpersonal skills, effective selling skills, and have an outgoing personality
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to sell and interact with guests
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. constantly
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in a cold environment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
