Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the meat department and achieve budgeted financial results. Prepare product for sale according to standards, implement selling culture through merchandising programs, and manage inventory to prevent out-of-stocks. Schedule the department, conduct weekly pricing audits and ALI self-audits, and maintain compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations. Personally train staff, hold direct reports accountable to productivity goals, and build a talent planning bench. Take complete ownership of the entire meat department, including fresh, frozen meat, and seafood, while performing PA announcements and other assigned tasks.
