Job Summary
Beef Category Manager-Specialty Brands leads the strategy, planning, implementation and day-to-day execution for supply chain planning across Elite Prime, Angus Beef, Wagyu, Grassfed, Organic & Natural beef brands. Responsible for category performance support (Grass Fed, Wagyu, Organic, CAB), determining production plans, plant locations, and customer allocations, maximizing carcass utilization, coordinating with production teams, setting production limits, providing headcount and program requirements, participating in demand planning and S&OP processes, maintaining pricing structures and program-specific pricing models, tracking forward- and spot-sold positions, managing NPRs, coordinating sample requests and new item setups with marketing, sales, and operations, and maintaining pricing sheets and program documentation. Strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to travel required. Bachelor’s degree in relevant area preferred; 2–5 years’ experience in related roles; travel ~10%; location based in Colorado with corporate office in Greeley; salary range $80,000-$110,000 annually; salary specifics, benefits, and company policies detailed in posting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Meat Science, Agribusiness or related area strongly preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, category management, or commercial support roles (protein or food industry experience a plus)
- Willingness to travel (10%)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making across production, pricing, and inventory
- Proficiency in Excel and data systems; ability to maintain pricing sheets, NPRs, and reporting tools with accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across procurement, production, sales, marketing, and scheduling teams
- Ability to perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- This is a salaried position with travel as business needs dictate
