Beech Island - 1112 - Pipefitter - Journeyman

Plan, lay-out, install, test, and repair all types of piping systems in accordance with applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Use hand and power tools to fit and install pipe and tubular products, including various joints and materials like carbon steel and stainless steel. Mount pipe hangers, install valves and fittings, and disassemble damaged systems. Coordinate work with other crafts, read orthographic and isometric drawings, and provide on-the-job training to helpers. Participate in all safety-related processes, including pre-job planning, hazard identification, lockout/tag-out procedures, and reporting accidents or near misses. Engage with the team to ensure zero injuries and maintain a safe, clean work environment. Work up to 12-hour shifts in varying temperature extremes on a typical construction site.
