Job Summary
Maintenance Internship at Bee Sweet Citrus involves supporting the maintenance and technician operations. You will assist with troubleshooting and repairing machinery, reading equipment user manuals, filling out work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and daily inspections of production equipment. You will shadow a current full-time maintenance mechanic or technician and gain hands-on experience to drive operational excellence. Key skills include understanding electrical control circuits, PLC applications, and electrical schematic diagrams; using hand and power tools and computer-based systems; handling grease and oils and calibrating equipment; basic fabrication knowledge; and the physical ability to move, climb, bend, and lift, including working in a noisy environment.
Required Qualifications
- Entry level
- Understand basic electrical control circuits, PLC applications and electrical schematic diagrams
- Able to use hand tools and power tools
- Able to work with grease and oils and adjust/calibrate equipment
- Knowledge of basic fabrication
- Must be able to climb, lift (20 lbs or more), bend and stoop
- Must be able to move tasks in a noisy environment
- Complete tasks in a structured process and adhere to protocol
